Soulja Boy took to Twitter on Monday (March 21) to express grief over the death of his half-brother Deion Jenkins. The 14-year-old died on Sunday in a car accident in Charleston, Mississippi, according to XXLmag.com.
The “Pretty Boy Swag” MC remembered his sibling online, tweeting, “at home crying my eyes out I can’t believe my Lil bro is gone… today is so not my day.. RIP lil brother love you always 
”
In addition to Soulja Boy, an associate of the rapper, Michael “Miami Mike” Sykes, also sent his condolences. “The Flags are @ Half Staff @ the Offices of SODMG & PTE, R.I.P. to @Souljaboy little brother who passed-way in a auto crash last nite ,” he tweeted.
Sean Kingston, who has worked with the MC, was saddened by the news, writing, “Smh life is really short man.. Why do the good die young smh @SouljaBoy keep your head up stay strong..Ima keep u in my prayers bro realtalk.”
While further details regarding Jenkins’ accident are still unknown, a rep for Soulja Boy told XXLmag.com funeral proceedings for the 14-year-old will be held on Saturday.
